Amal Homes.

Amal Homes was founded by Khalid Halabi — a 24-year veteran of the global oil & gas industry who spent two decades at Chevron and BHP leading subsurface teams on multibillion-dollar capital projects. In 2017, he channeled that same engineering discipline and relentless pursuit of excellence into residential construction, founding Amal Homes to build fully custom homes in Houston and Austin.

After years of dreaming about building a home — even just one — Khalid made it a reality. “Amal,” his mother's Arabic name, means hope. It embodies the aspirations that fuel every home Amal Homes creates, always guided by one principle: “We build them as if we would reside in them.”
